French Association of Zoological Parks
Lumigny Safari Reserve is a member of the AFdPZ, which brings together more than 100 zoological parks in France.
This organization plays a key role in promoting best practices in zoological management, ensuring that its members comply with a strict ethical charter focused on biodiversity conservation.
The AFdPZ actively supports zoos in their missions of species protection, scientific research and public awareness.
European Association of Zoos and Aquariums
A member of the EAZA, Lumigny Safari Reserve is committed to preserving animal species alongside more than 430 European zoos and aquariums. EAZA notably coordinates EEP (EAZA Ex-situ Programmes), breeding and conservation programs, ensuring the genetic diversity of species housed in zoological parks and, where possible, their reintroduction into the wild.
Helpsimus – Wildlife Protection
Lumigny Safari Reserve supports Helpsimus, an organization dedicated to protecting wildlife in distress. Helpsimus intervenes in the rescue, care and rehabilitation of endangered species, actively contributing to their welfare and conservation.
International Union for Conservation of Nature
The IUCN is one of the world’s leading organizations dedicated to nature conservation. It notably establishes the Red List of Threatened Species, an essential reference for scientists and biodiversity actors. Lumigny Safari Reserve supports IUCN conservation actions and participates in endangered species protection programs.
League for the Protection of Birds
Committed to local biodiversity, Lumigny Safari Reserve works with the LPO, actively involved in the protection of birds and their natural habitats.
PANTHERA – Conservation of Big Cats
The Lumigny Safari Reserve is proud to support PANTHERA, an organization committed to protecting threatened felines around the world. PANTHERA carries out concrete field actions, such as population monitoring, combating poaching and preserving natural habitats.
Wildlife Protection in Seine-et-Marne
The Lumigny Safari Reserve collaborates with Pie verte 77, an association committed to safeguarding local biodiversity. Through awareness-raising, rehabilitation and natural habitat protection actions, Pie verte 77 plays an essential role in preserving Seine-et-Marne wildlife.
French Society for the Study and Protection of Mammals
As a partner of the SFEPM, the Lumigny Safari Reserve participates in the preservation of wild mammals in France. The association conducts scientific studies and implements concrete actions to ensure the protection of threatened species and their habitats.
SPECIES360 – Management of Zoological Data on a Global Scale
The Lumigny Safari Reserve is a member of Species360, an international network of over 1,200 zoological institutions. Through ZIMS (Zoological Information Management System), we share essential data for species monitoring and optimization of veterinary care.

Tonga Terre d’Accueil – Refuge for Wildlife
The Lumigny Safari Reserve supports Tonga Terre d’Accueil, a center specialized in welcoming and rehabilitating wild animals from seizures or distress situations. By providing them with appropriate care and, when possible, reintroduction into the natural environment, the association works for the protection and welfare of the species concerned.
