Goeldi's Tamarin

Goeldi’s tamarin is diurnal, arboreal, and lives in groups of 2 to 8 multi-male, multi-female individuals. It lives very well with other species such as emperor tamarins, night monkeys, or howler monkeys.

Diet

It consumes mainly leaves and fruits. It is the most vegetarian of all tamarins. We find it in Bolivia, Colombia, in dry tropical forests, it does not like places that are too often humid and lives in the canopy. It is managed by a European breeding program.
