Lafresnaye's Macaw

Lafresnaye’s Macaw is a bird that belongs to the Psittacidae family. It is native to Bolivia and lives in the semi-arid mountainous areas of the Andes mountain range. It feeds on fruits, seeds and leaves.
This macaw is listed in Appendix I of the Washington Convention and benefits from a European breeding program.
