Diet

Native to the coasts of Eastern Australia, it lives mainly in eucalyptus woods, thick scrubland bordering water, or secondary forests where it feeds on fruits and seeds.

Size and weight

The couple shows a color difference. The photo represents a male. The royal parrot is rare or in low density at the periphery of its range. Everywhere else, it is relatively common. It does not benefit from any particular classification or any protection measures.
